Recognising Oshun
Sunday February 24th 2019
With so much power now in watery Pisces — Sun, Neptune, Mercury and the asteroid Vesta — maybe it’s a moment to pause and listen to a story about another watery deity: Oshun, West African goddess of sweet water.
Yes. Very important.
Something I learnt today – divine feminine gets her light from Source. Divine masculine gets his light from her.
Look at the power dynamic. No wonder they invented patriarchy. :/
I have a grand water trine, I totally love this! 🙂
Thank you!
Oxum/ Oshun the sweet water goddess in Brazil is traditionally related to taurus as she is the goddess of fertility, sensuality, riches and abundance and healthy vanity ( has often been compared with Venus). Her dances involve self adornment, the placing of copper ( her metal) jewellery on. Yemanja is the all mother sea goddess who is often seen as pisces Yemaja means ‘Mother whose children are like fish’.
Thank you for that Sarah!
