Cesaria Evora was born on this day, August 27, in 1941 — a Virgo, with a Scorpio Moon: precision and soul.

She was called the “Barefoot Diva” because she liked to sing without shoes. Maybe not surprising considering her stellium in earthy Virgo — Sun, Mercury, North Node and Neptune, the planet of music and magic.

    How gorgeous! I am drawn to sun Scorpio singers, I hadn’t thought of moon in Scorpio, I’ve never looked that far. Anyway, enjoyed that! Thank you 🙂

    Together with the accompaniment music (magical clarinet? and ukele? Blissful) this is really quite dreamy and soulful, making you just want to delve deeper and weep gently in the quiet stillness.
