I like that painting, quite chocolate boxy, but still very evocative. I can feel the breeze from here. Im not familiar with the artist, so thanks for that.

And Happy New Year to everyone! I’d like to say it can only get better, but…!

We are in an interesting configuration and I’ve not read any astrologers’ comments for this astronomical event:
https://blogs.nasa.gov/pluto/2016/07/22/pluto-preparing-for-the-perfect-alignment/

“These “special” oppositions take place when the planet is near what is called the Line of Nodes at the time of opposition. The Line of Nodes is the intersection of the plane of the Earth’s orbit and a planet’s orbit. If the planet is near one of these intersection points at the time of opposition, it is in near-perfect alignment with the Earth and sun. Pluto was last near one of these intersection points in 1931 and will be again in 2018. After that, because of the eccentricity of Pluto’s orbit, it will be another 161 years until the next perfect alignment opportunity.”

The triple conjunction of Sun-Venus-Pluto January 9th is conjunct Pluto’s S Node in Capricorn. The 18* Capricorn zone is perhaps sensitized, due to the Uranus-Neptune conjunction of the early 1990s, all rather like the astrological equivalent of the Bermuda Triangle…LOL.

@mike

Very interesting, Mike. As a matter of fact, Saturn’s nodes are there too, 21°-22° Cap. It’s a sort of dance with Pluto, Saturn and their nodes.

However, since the nodes of Pluto are not symmetrical, I don’t see Pluto exactly conjuncting the own South Node by January, it only comes close (it does, however, oppose the own North Node). The actual conjunction will not happen until October 23th. This is as at least how I see it:

http://www.true-node.com/eph1/?inputNumber=saturn%2C+pluto&day=9&month=10&year=2018&time=00%3A00%3A00&zone=GMT+0&interval_num=1&interval=day&lines=31&.submit=Get+Ephemeris&calendar=Gregorian&zodiac=Tropical&origin=Geocentric&lighttime=Apparent&clock=Universal+Time&zodsec=D%B0M&longitude=on&nnode=on&snode=on

The nasa.gov link states, “What will happen when Pluto and its moons cross their Line of Nodes on July 12, 2018?”…that places Pluto at 20*01′ Capricorn:
http://planetwatcher.com/#1531389600

Wiki provides the “Longitude of ascending node” (right hand vertical column) for each planet. Pluto is 20.3* (20*18′) Capricorn, Saturn is 23.7* (23*42′) Capricorn.

Pluto will be at 20*01′ on February 7th, then again on July 12th Rx, again December 13th direct for the last pass, but within half a degree October 2, 2019 as Pluto stations direct.

PS – note that July 12th is also a partial solar eclipse at 20*41′ Cancer. Partial eclipses aren’t known to be very powerful, but this one is on Pluto’s N Node, opposed Pluto on Pluto’s S Node.

Plutos S. Node is at 20° now, but not in July. Nodes are not totally fixed, despite beeing slow, they commute between two degrees.

So by July, the S. Node will already be at 22° cap. And only then changing the direction again. And Pluto is not fast enough to catch it. Even more, Pluto too will turn retrograde by then – note that NASA doesn’t work with geocentric model, so no retrograde planets. And since we work with it, our nodes are not symmetrical either (unlike moon, Pluto does not really circle around earth).

Here I copy/paste that part:

Date | Pluto |

| LONG NNOD SNOD |
————————————————–
12 Jan 2018 | 19 cp 9 20 cn 30 20 cp 33 |

12 Feb 2018 | 20 cp 9 19 cn 47 21 cp 25 |

12 Mar 2018 | 20 cp 51 19 cn 20 21 cp 59 |

12 Apr 2018 | 21 cp 15 19 cn 9 22 cp 14 |

12 May 2018 | 21 cp 11 Rx 19 cn 21 22 cp 2 |

12 Jun 2018 | 20 cp 43 Rx 19 cn 51 21 cp 25 |

12 Jul 2018 | 20 cp 1 Rx 20 cn 31 20 cp 34 |

12 Aug 2018 | 19 cp 18 Rx 21 cn 11 19 cp 42 |

12 Sep 2018 | 18 cp 50 Rx 21 cn 42 19 cp 3 |

12 Oct 2018 | 18 cp 47 21 cn 55 18 cp 50 |

12 Nov 2018 | 19 cp 11 21 cn 45 19 cp 5

However, if the software is right, Pluto will come very close to its own Node (<1°) on July 12th, so the eclipse you mention is likely to be very powerfull indeed.

Thanks you two thats very interesting.
Aside from the astronomy, have you looked at the charts of Trumps family, circle and the GOP generally?
Its stuffed full of Capricorns, either by sun, or other placements.

Furthemore on October 17 1931– American gangster Al Capone was sentenced to 11 years in prison for tax evasion in Chicago, Illinois.
Capone was a Capricorn 17 January 1899, Brooklyn, New York City

Perfectly his Moon at 27 Aires currently conjuncts Uranus and he is having a Jupiter return at 8 Scorpio – Death and Taxes.

Youve probably all seen the headlines:
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2018/jan/03/donald-trump-russia-steve-bannon-michael-wolff
Bannon has Venus Mercury and Saturn in Scorpio, and as I along with many others have always said about this administration, follow the money.

His North Node is 25 Capricorn inconjunct Pluto.
‘Bannon, speaking to author Michael Wolff, warned that the investigation into alleged collusion with the Kremlin will focus on money laundering and predicted: “They’re going to crack Don Junior like an egg on national TV.”’

Don jr is a Capricorn as is Kushner.

Eleonora – “Mean and osculating positions: There are serious problems about the ephemerides of planetary nodes and apsides. There are mean ones and osculating ones. Both are well-defined points in astronomy, but this does not necessarily mean that these definitions make sense for astrology. Mean points, on the one hand, are not true, i.e. if a planet is in precise conjunction with its mean node, this does not mean it be crossing the ecliptic plane exactly that moment. Osculating points, on the other hand, are based on the idealization of the planetary motions as two-body problems, where the gravity of the sun and a single planet is considered and all other influences neglected. There are no planetary nodes or apsides, at least today, that really deserve the label ‘true’.”

Thank you for the link!

Later in that text, they state there is no mean node for Pluto (unlike for other planets), and then in the last passage: “For Pluto and transjovian asteroids: osculating nodes/apsides from a barycentric ellipse.”

“Barycentric” for using the mean Sun instead of the actual position, since Pluto needs time to adjust to the new position of the sun.

It seems like there are several ways to determine the nodes position and various opinions about it. Still, I’m not a fan of mixing geocentric and heliocentric systems that much – but it really is complex. I think I’m going to research a bit more on that topic, not only on the different ways of determining the position of planetary nodes, but also think about what it acutally means – for I’m convinced that most of them are valid, but diserve different interpretation. 🙂

I noticed strong Leo-Sag-Gem influence in Trumps family / allies, it’s like they are actors, playing the roles they thik audience wants to see (which does not make them less dangerous, however). This is an explanation for the incredible high number of comic-like characters in the story (Stephen Miller, Steve Bannon, Jared Kushner, Trumps adult children…). Comics are connected to Gemini, of course. And this one is noir, for sure, all with the Trump Tower and the 666 Fifth Avenue as worthy settings.

I think you are totally right about the Cap, especially in the charts of his family members. This makes sense of course, with all that Cap symbolism. Powerful family and “borders” are their favourite word.

Now, I’m nevertheless not a fan of all the publicity “Fire and Fury” is getting. Perhaps it will contain some usefull material, but on the whole, it’s rather distracting from the actual issues (like tax reform, or threatening nuclear war and annihilation of an entire nation for that matter). It’s all gossip and it’s chaos and scandal and Trump likes that. Therefor the book wan’t do Trump any demage, on the contrary, he feels good in opaque waters, it’s his natural environment.

Yes aware of the Gemini/Sag Trump Gilliani Pence- ditto Brexit, but its in a sea
of Capricorn, which is getting more noticeable as Saturn shifts signs, along with the Scorpio element [Bannon] thanks to Jupiter and Mars.
Yes distraction maybe, but its certainly fuelling calls for the 25th.
And in a rush to disavow Banons involvement in the campaign, Brad Parscale has just unintentionally thrown Kushner and Eric Trump under the bus.
https://twitter.com/parscale/status/949309735391649792
And the dinner party referred to with Bannon and Ailes has been confirmed as true.
Brietbart followers are in a meltdown, Rebekah Mercer has disavowed him.
All of this opens opportunities for Mueller not least with Bannon.
Personally I think this will hasten Trumps end.

“… but its in a sea of Capricorn, which is getting more noticeable as Saturn shifts signs…”

Absolutely! (And Saturn is materializing things, a book is a materialized thought, theory, gossip, claim…)

“…but its certainly fuelling calls for the 25th.”

Sure it does, but there are already enough people calling for his impeachment. (A decent person would have already resigned, but no one ever accused Trump of being a decent person.)

So the only option is the formal one: It’s actually triggering the 25th Amandement, instead of just calling for it. But in order to do this, one needs proofs. And this is what the book does not offer. An Example, a popular quote from Stephen Bannon: “The chance that Don Jr. did not walk these Jumos up to his father’s office of the 26th floor is zero“.
So, it’s not something Bannon has heard or saw with his own eyes, not even something he has heard from someone else, let alone something he can prove. It’s only his personal opinion, and the executive chairman of Breitbart, recently dumped by Trump, might not be the most credible source.

Nor is the Michael Wolff the most credible author around. If Trump debunks the authenticity of one or two claims in the book, his admirers (who are still numerous) will again see him as a victim of „fake news“ and mainstream media and so on.

The entire affaire will destroy Bannon (it already did), not Trump. Worst case would be Bannons fascist followers changing loyalities, from Bannon to Trump.

But he has already been pipped to the post, both by the author and the readers. Everyone knows its not all true, but enough of it is, and most importantly, it rings true.
What goes round comes round, hoisted by his own petard.

It now looks like Mueller will seek to interview Trump.

As to his admirers, not that numerous that a concerted effort on the voters part couldnt easily take care of. All those 3rd Party voters and those who either didnt vote or who voted reluctantly.
